Official steps
- Sign in to your Shutterstock account.
- Go to the Plans page of your account.
- Find the plan you want to end and open its "Cancel plan" module (each subscription or pack has its own auto-renewal setting and must be canceled individually).
- For a month-to-month plan (no annual commitment) or an annual plan paid upfront, click "Cancel plan" — it stops auto-renewal at the end of the term with no fee.
- For an annual plan billed monthly, choose "Cancel at end of term" to stop auto-renewal while monthly billing continues to the 12-month expiry (no fee), OR choose "Cancel early" to end now and pay a fee equal to 50% of the remaining subscription cost.
- For on-demand packs, switch off auto-refill on the Plans page so it won't refill after your last download.
- Reach out to Shutterstock support only if the in-account cancel options don't work for your plan.
