How to cancel Uber One

How to cancel Uber One: Open the Uber or Uber Eats app and sign in as the membership account owner. Official path: the brand’s mobile app. Cancel at least 48 hours before your billing day or you get charged for the next cycle; within 48 hours you must contact support. Note: after any Uber One refund you cannot repurchase the membership for 3 days.

Official steps

  1. Open the Uber or Uber Eats app and sign in as the membership account owner.
  2. Tap the Account icon.
  3. Tap Uber One.
  4. Scroll down and tap Manage Membership.
  5. Tap End Membership.
  6. Work through the retention screens (offers/discounts to stay), pick a cancellation reason, and tap Continue.
  7. Confirm on the final screen to finish cancelling (web alternative: sign in at uber.com, profile icon > Uber One > Manage Membership > End Membership).
  8. If you are within 48 hours of your renewal date, the app blocks self-cancel — contact Uber support to stop the charge.
  9. For a refund of the current/last charge, request it via support (support@uber.com or in-app help) citing unused time.

Do I need an account?

Cancellation requires signing into the account owner's Uber account and completing an in-app (or web) retention flow of up to ~23 screens, with no guest order-lookup path.

Window, fees & policy notes

$9.99/mo or ~$96/yr; cancelling is free but you keep benefits only through the end of the current paid period (free-trial/paused members lose them immediately); no in-store option (digital sub); refunds of the current/unused period are goodwill (~30 days) and require a support request, not automatic.
