How to return Temu

How to return Temu: Sign in to your Temu account on temu.com or the Temu app (or click "Save your Order" in your order confirmation email if you checked out without an account). You’ll need to sign in to your account to start. 90-day return window (45/60 days for some electronics/large appliances); first return per order is free, subsequent same-order returns cost $7.99 + tax deducted from refund; no restocking fee but refund is reduced for used/damaged/incomplete items not the seller's fault; no in-store returns (carrier drop-off/kiosk only); must ship within 14 days of the request.

Official steps

  1. Sign in to your Temu account on temu.com or the Temu app (or click "Save your Order" in your order confirmation email if you checked out without an account).
  2. Go to "Your Orders" and find the order.
  3. Click "Return/Refund" on that order.
  4. Select the item(s) to return and choose a reason (extra details may be required depending on the reason).
  5. Choose your refund method: Temu credit balance or original payment method.
  6. Submit the request to receive a prepaid return label (PDF) and/or a label-free QR return code.
  7. Drop off the package at the designated carrier (Happy Returns, USPS, FedEx, or UPS) and make sure it is postmarked within 14 days of submitting the request.

Do I need an account?

Starting a return requires signing into your Temu account, and Temu login is gated by an emailed/SMS one-time verification code that a headless order-number+email flow cannot pass.
