How to return Walmart: Sign in to your Walmart.com account (or open the Walmart app) and go to Purchase History / order history. You’ll need to sign in to your account to start. 90 days standard (electronics 30, phones 14, Marketplace ~30; Oct 1–Dec 31 purchases returnable through Jan 31); free return shipping on Walmart-sold items with no restocking fee; in-store returns accepted at any Walmart; Marketplace sellers may charge up to 20% restocking and some categories (video games, headphones, contacts, breast pumps, car seats, food) are final sale.
Official steps
- Sign in to your Walmart.com account (or open the Walmart app) and go to Purchase History / order history.
- Find the order and select "Start a Return."
- Select the item(s) and a return reason.
- Choose a return method: prepaid printable FedEx label, printerless mobile QR code (redeemed at any FedEx Office, staff print on the spot), FedEx home Carrier Pickup, or in-store drop-off at any Walmart.
- Print the label or save the QR code, then drop off / hand to the carrier / bring to a store.
- Refund is issued after the item is received and scanned.
Do I need an account?
Starting a return requires signing into your personal Walmart.com account, where returns live in your order history.
